Woo Woo

Woo Woo , like the Fuzzy Navel and Sex on the Beach, is one of several peachy drinks that became popular in the mid-1980s following the successful launch of peach schnapps in the American market from companies such as DeKuyper and National Distillers. Its precise origin is unclear, although there is some evidence that points to the singles bars of New York City’s Upper East Side. Although the Woo Woo, a combination of vodka, cranberry juice, and peach schnapps, may be served as a shooter, it’s more commonly encountered over ice in a highball glass. In some university bars, it is occasionally available by the pitcher.

Recipe: To an ice-filled highball glass, add 60 ml vodka, 15 ml peach schnapps, and 75 ml cranberry juice. Stir.
