Gandharan still

Gandharan still is an ancient form of clay pot still, developed in what is now Pakistan, in which the alcohol vapor is drawn off through a tube from the bulbous still head to condense in a cooled receiver. It survived into the twentieth century in some parts of India. See also distillation, history; and arrack, coconut.
